He joined the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles in 1964 and was named an All-NFL tackle in his rookie year. He also made the All-NFL team in 1965. The Eagles traded him to the Los Angeles Rams in 1968, when he was All-NFL for a third time.
Brown went to the Oakland Raiders in 1971. He was named to the All-AFC team in each of his three seasons there. He retired after the 1973 season.
