Buck, Jason O.
Football
b. July 27, 1963, Moses Lake, WA
Buck attended Ricks College in Idaho and then transferred to Brigham Young University, where he was an All-American defensive tackle and winner of the Outland Trophy as the nation's outstanding collegiate lineman in 1986.
Chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 1987 NFL draft, the 6-foot-4, 265-pound Buck was moved to defensive end as a professional. He played with Cincinnati through 1990 and then joined the Washington Redskins as an unrestricted free agent in 1991. Buck missed half of the season with an injury but played in Washington's 37-24 win over the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVI.
Recurrent injuries forced him to retire from football after the 1993 season.
