Football
b. Oct. 26, 1963, Tulsa, OK
An All-American defensive lineman in his junior and senior seasons at the University of Oklahoma, the 6-foot-3, 273-pound Casillas won the 1985 Lombardi Award as the nation's outstanding college lineman.
The second player chosen in the 1986 NFL draft, by the Atlanta Falcons, Casillas became a starter at nose tackle as a rookie but missed much of his second year with an injury and was also out for nearly half of the 1990 season.
In 1991, the Falcons traded him to the Dallas Cowboys. He played for two Super Bowl champions in Dallas before going to the Kansas City Chiefs as a free agent in 1994. The Chiefs traded him to the New York Jets before that season began.
Casillas returned to the Cowboys in 1996 and played on another Super Bowl champion. He retired after the 1997 season to pursue an acting career.
