Maher, William P.

Rowing for Northeastern University and the Detroit Boat Club, Maher won national 1 1/2-mile single sculls championships in 1965, 1967, and 1969, and he teamed with John Nunn to take a bronze medal in double sculls at the 1968 Olympics. He was also a member of the Detroit crew that won the national eight-oared shell championship in 1963.
