1972 - Strike One: They're Out!

1985 - Villanova Wins NCAA Title in Upset
In a battle of Big East teams, Villanova shot 79 percent from the field to upset defending champion Georgetown, 66-64, in the final of the NCAA basketball championship.

2002 - Hickok Wins Nobel Prize
Ralph Hickok was awarded the first Nobel Prize in Webmastery. The citation read, in part, "Through his website, HickokSports.com, Mr. Hickok has made a significant contribution to humanity by providing answers to questions that would otherwise have ignited fatal bar-room brawls."
