1917 - Cicotte No-Hits Browns, 11-0
Lefty Ed Cicotte pitched a no-hitter as his Chicago White Sox beat the St. Louis Browns, 11-0. Cicotte was later implicated in the Black Sox Scandal and banned from professional baseball.

Sandy Koufax of the Los Angeles Dodgers set a major-league record by completing his ninth consecutive start without giving up a walk.

1968 - Di Vicenzo Blows Masters with Signature
Robert di Vicenzo of Argentina had apparently won the Masters Championship by shooting a 66 on the final round. But he signed a score card that incorrectly gave him a par 4 instead of a birdie 3 on the 17th hole and was disqualified. Bob Goalby wore the green jacket.
