1926 - Lyons' No-Hitter Takes 67 Minutes
Ted Lyons of the Chicago White Sox pitched a no-hitter to beat the Boston Red Sox, 6-0, at Fenway Park. The game lasted only 67 minutes.

1931 - Ruth Blasts 600th Career Homer
Babe Ruth hits the 600th home run of his career off George Blaeholder of the St. Louis Browns in the Yankees' 11-7 win. Lou Gehrig followed that with a home run of his own.

1949 - Phillie Fans Cause Forfeit
Enraged by Umpire George Barr's ruling on a trapped line drive, Philadelphia Phillie fans rained bottles onto the field, resulting in a forfeit to the New York Giants, who were leading 4-2 in the ninth inning at the time.

1975 - Reuschel Brothers Work Shutout
Working on a shutout, Rick Reuschel had to leave the game with a blistered finger in the 7th inning, and his brother Paul came in to finish off the Chicago Cubs 7-0 win over the Dodgers. It was the first time brothers had ever combined to pitch a shutout.

1982 - Fingers First with 300 Saves
Pitching for the Milwaukee Brewers, Rollie Fingers became the first pitcher to collect 300 saves in a 3-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners.
