1963 - Instant Replay Introduced
CBS introduced instant replay as a one-time experiment in its telecast of the Army-Navy game. With about seven minutes to play, Army quarterback Rollie Stichweh faked a handoff and scored from a yard out, and CBS showed an isolated view of Stichweh's touchdown. Navy won the game, 21-15.
