1983 - Lafleur Scores 500th Goal
Guy Lafleur became the 10th player in NHL history with 500 career goals when he scored in the Montreal Canadiens' 6-0 win over the New York Rangers.

1985 - Potvin Becomes Highest-Scoring Defenseman
New York Islander Denis Potvin had an assist against the New York Rangers to give him 916 points, a record at the time for an NHL defenseman. He had been tied with Bobby Orr for the record. Potvin extended the record to 1,052 points before retiring.
