1950 - Browns Beat Rams for NFL Title
In their first NFL season, the Cleveland Browns reached the championship game, but they were losing to the Los Angeles Rams, 28-20, as the fourth quarter opened. Rex Baumgardner made a diving catch of an Otto Graham pass to cut the margin to one point. With 1:48 to play, Cleveland took over at its own 32-yard line. Graham ran for 19 yards, completed 4 of 5 passes to move to the Los Angeles 11, then ran a quarterback sneak for another yard, to position the ball in the center of the field. Lou Groza's 16-yard field goal won the game, giving the Browns their fifth straight championship. They had won all four titles in the All-American Football Conference.
