1970 - Chiefs Win Last AFL Championship

The Kansas City Chiefs got four interceptions and beat the Oakland Raiders, 17-7, in the last AFL championship game. The Chiefs went on to beat the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV.

1970 - Vikes Win One for Expansion

Joe Kapp ran for a touchdown and passed 75 yards for another in the first quarter as the Minnesota Vikings became the first expansion team to win the NFL championship, beating the Cleveland Browns 27-7.

1984 - Eight Points for the Great One - Again

Wayne Gretzky had four goals and four assists in the Edmonton Oilers' 12-8 win over the Minnesota North Stars, becoming the first NHL player to score 8 or more points in a game twice.

1986 - Naval Blockade by Robinson Sets Record

Center David Robinson of Navy set an NCAA record by blocking 14 shots as his team beat North Carolina-Wilmington, 76-61.
