1968 - "Big E" Helps End UCLA Streak

Led by Elvin Hayes, Houston ended UCLA's 47-game winning streak with a 71-69 victory at the Astrodome before 52,693 fans, then the NCAA record for attendance.

1980 - Stallworth's Big Catches Lead Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers were trailing the Los Angeles Rams, 19-17, in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XIV when John Stallworth grabbed a 73-yard touchdown pass from Terry Bradshaw to give Pittsburgh the lead. A few minutes later, Stallworth caught a 45-yarder to set up the score the sealed the Steelers' 31-19 win.

1985 - Montana Is Super Bowl MVP Again

Joe Montana completed 24 of 35 passes for 331 yards and two touchdowns and added a 6-yard touchdown run to win his third MVP award as the San Francisco 49ers beat the Miami Dolphins, 38-16, in Super Bowl XIX.
