1959 - McCovey Goes 4-for-4 in Debut
In his first major-league game, Willie McCovey of the San Francisco Giants hit two singles and two triples in four at-bats against Robin Roberts of the Philadelphia Phillies.

1968 - Senators Turn Triple Play
Cleveland catcher Jose Azcue's line drive was grabbed by shortstop Ron Hansen of the Washington Senators, who then doubled a runner off second and tagged out another runner between first and second. It was the first unassisted triple play in the major leagues since 1927.
