1973 - Norton Beats Ali in NABF Title Fight

Ken Norton won a 12-round split decision over Muhammad Ali at San Diego to win the North American Boxing Federation heavyweight championship.

1975 - UCLA Wins 12th Title in Wooden's Last Game

In John Wooden's final game as UCLA's basketball coach, his Bruins beat Kentucky, 92-55, to win their tenth NCAA championship in 12 years. Wooden's teams won 620 games and lost only 147 in his 27 seasons at the school.
