1959 - Runs Haunt Hearn's Retirement
Pitcher Jim Hearn of the San Francisco Giants gave up two runs against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The game was then suspended. Hearn was cut by the Giants and announced his retirement. Two months later, the game was finally completed and Hearn, in retirement, took the loss.

1970 - Orr OT Goal Brings Cup to Boston
Bobby Orr scored one of the most frequently replayed goals in NHL history to give the Boston Bruins the Stanley Cup for the fist time in 29 years. Orr scored the goal in overtime of the fourth and deciding game against the St. Louis Blues.
