Filling in at center for the injured Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson scored 42 points and collected 15 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Lakers over the Philadelphia 76ers in the sixth and deciding game of the NBA championship series.

1992 - America3 Finishes Cup Defense
America3 completed her successful defense of the America's Cup by beating Italy's Il Moro di Venezio in four of five races. The series featured the closest racing in cup history, with an average winning margin of only 49 seconds.
