The Ferrell brothers, catcher Rick of the St. Louis Browns and pitcher Wes of the Cleveland Indians, opposed one another for one of the few times in their careers and each of them hit a home run.

1974 - Kate Smith Sings, Flyers Win
Before facing the Boston Bruins in the 7th game of the Stanley Cup final, the Philadelphia Flyers called on Kate Smith for helped. They'd won 36 of the 40 games at which she'd sung "God Bless America," and they made it 37 of 41 by beating the Bruins, 1-0.
