1891 - Corbett, Jackson Fight 61 Rounds
Jim Corbett and Peter Jackson fought a 61-round draw at San Francisco. Corbett went on to win the heavyweight title the following year but Jackson, an Australian black, never got a championship fight.

1930 - Bishop Walks 8 Times in Doubleheader
Second baseman Max "Camera Eye" Bishop of the Philadelphia Athletics set a major league record by drawing 8 walks in a doubleheader. Bishop walked 128 times and scored 117 runs that season.

1969 - Now Hitting for Henry Aaron. . .
After 9,015 plate appearances, Henry Aaron was replaced by a pinch hitter for the first time. Mike Lum batted for him in the seventh inning of the Atlanta Braves' 15-3 win over the New York Mets.
