1904 - Is It a Run or a Pass?
The University of Tennessee came with a unique offensive approach to football. Fullback Sam McAllester wore a special belt with handgrips on each side so his teammates could throw him over the line of scrimmage. They did it repeatedly on a 50-yard drive that ended when McAllester was thrown into the endzone for the game's only touchdown. Tennessee beat Alabama, 7-0. The rules were quickly changed to prohibit the ploy.

1960 - Chamberlain Grabs Record 55 Rebounds
Wilt Chamberlain of the Philadelphia Warriors set an NBA record that still stands by pulling down 55 rebounds in a game against the Boston Celtics.
