Flash GamesThere's a bit of confusion between Flash and Shockwave, especially since the term "Shockwave Flash" is often bandied about. But they're two distinct technologies from Macromedia, and each requires its own player. Macromedia has a page that should help you clear up any problems or questions. Included on that page is a link to a test you can perform to find out if you have the players installed. These games can take a while to load. Most of the games have a progress meter that tells you how the load is proceeding, but a couple of them don't, so you may need to exercise some patience.
Baseball - This is really just a hitting game, with two levels of difficulty. Battle Pong - A kind of weird version of Pong in which you try to kill your opponent. Beach Tennis - Be sure to read the instructions, because you use the keyboard, not the mouse. Boom Volleyball - Read instructions for this one, too; the volleyball is a bomb that explodes after hitting the sand a few times. Canyon Glider - Fly the hang glider through hoops to score points, avoid the vultures, and make a perfect landing. Field Goal - You've got to be quick to kick field goals accurately in this game. Hoops - Maneuver through your opposition, then make a shot. It's not easy. Stress Relief Paintball - Stress relief? This game can actually stress you out instead. Rural Racer - Basically an auto racing game for one or two players. Don't know what's rural about it. Santa's Ski Jump - The Happy Christmas greeting may not be seasonal. But then, ski jumping may not be, either. Stan Skates - Skateboards, that is; jump the obstacles to accumulate points. Surf's Up - Catch the wave, do tricks, but avoid the hungry fish and watch your landing. Tennis Ace- This one takes a lot of practice. Sort of like tennis, come to think of it. Trap Shooting - Choose your shooter and your targets, clay pigeons, chickens, or beer cans. Wakeboarding - Go over jumps, avoid obstacles; the jumping is really tough to master
