Shockwave GamesThere's a bit of confusion between Flash and Shockwave, especially since the term "Shockwave Flash" is often bandied about. But they're two distinct technologies from Macromedia, and each requires its own player. Macromedia has a page that should help you clear up any problems or questions. Included on that page is a link to a test you can perform to find out if you have the players installed. These games can take a while to load. Most of the games have a progress meter that tells you how the load is proceeding, but a couple of them don't, so you may need to exercise some patience.
Horse Racing - No skill required here, just pick a horse and watch them run. Shock Bowl - Very easy to play but realistic; take aim and roll a straight ball, a hook, or a curve, as a righty or lefty. Snowboard Alley - It's a slalom, pass through gates to collect points and avoid obstacles that take points off your score. Snowboarding XS - This is a more complex snowboarding game that allows aerial tricks for more points. Soccer - It's really just a penalty kick contest, you against the goalie. Superbike - Race a motorcycle against time or against other bikers. Vertigolf - An odd but very interesting version of miniature golf.
