Coca-Cola 600

History

The longest regularly-scheduled oval track race in existence, the Coca-Cola 600 is staged Memorial Day weekend at the 1.5-mile Lowe's Motor Speedway (formerly Charlotte Speedway) in Concord, NC.

It's also the only major race run at night. Three drivers, John Andretti, Robby Gordon, and Tony Stewart, have raced in the Indianapolis 500 in the afternoon and then flown to North Carolina to race in the Coca-Cola 600.
