The John Gagliardi Trophy

History

Established in 1993, the Gagliardi Trophy is presented annually to the outstanding scholar-athlete in NCAA Division III football by Jostens, Inc., and the J-Club of St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota.

The award is named for John Gagliardi, who has coached football for 56 seasons, 52 of them at St. John's. Gagliardi's 421 victories is an all-time record.
