History
This hall of fame was established by the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHPA) in 1966 with the inductiion of seven charter members.
The hall of fame selections are now handled by a 15-person committee. A nominee must have been an active adult NHPA member for at least ten years.
There are currently 122 members of the hall of fame, including 16 women.
