Orange/Newark Tornadoes 1929-30

History

The Orange, New Jersey, Athletic Club acquired the Duluth Eskimos' inactive franchise and entered the NFL in 1929. Known as the Tornadoes, the team had been successful while playing independently, but could manage only a 3-5-4 record.

In 1930, the franchise moved to Newark, but folded after going 1-10-1 that season.
