Game Summary

Appropriately, an interception set up the 32-yard field goal by rookie Jim O'Brien that won the game for Baltimore with only five seconds left. Sportswriters called Super Bowl V the "Stupor Bowl" and the "Stumble Bowl" because of the game's nine turnovers. Chuck Howley of Dallas was the first defensive player and the first member of the losing team to be named MVP.
