Game Summary

The issue was never in doubt as the Los Angeles Raiders set records for the most points and the biggest margin of victory, overwhelming the Washington Redskins 38-9. MVP Marcus Allen also set a pair of records. His 74-yard touchdown run was the longest in Super Bowl history, and he gained a record 191 yards on only 20 carries.
