With a virtually unstoppable offense, the San Francisco 49ers blew away the Denver Broncos to win their fourth Super Bowl, 55-20. The 49ers scored 13 points in the first quarter and 14 in each of the last three quarters, controlling the ball for nearly 40 minutes and outgaining Denver, 461 yards to 167. Joe Montana completed 22 of 29 passes for 297 yards and a record 5 touchdowns to win his third MVP award.
