Game Summary
After trailing 7-0 early, the Dallas Cowboys pounced on Buffalo turnovers to take a 28-10 halftime lead and win going away. An interception set up Dallas's first touchdown and Jim Kelly's fumble on the next play from scrimmage resulted in the second. After Troy Aikman's 19-yard touchdown pass to Michael Irvin gave Dallas a 21-10 lead, Thurman Thomas fumbled the ball away and Aikman hit Irvin again from 18 yards. The Bills managed to cut the lead to 31-17 at the end of the third quarter, but the Cowboys then got three touchdowns in as many minutes, including another on a fumble recovery.
